Rotary Photo Friday

Summer is the perfect time to be out on your bicycle. What could be better than riding your bike while supporting Rotary’s work to eradicate polio worldwide? You can do both while supporting one of the Rotary clubs in our district.

Tomorrow, the Rotary Club of Greater Albany is holding a “Pedal Away Polio” event. Riders will start from the Linn County Fair and Expo Center and embark on rides of various distances, ranging from two miles to 54.

A registration fee of $15 includes the chance to exercise in the countryside, enjoy a spaghetti lunch and know that you’ve done your part to support a global initiative to eliminate polio.

Contact Jessica at 541-740-1466 or visit greateralbanyrotary.org to register and get more information. You can also check out the full event flyer here – the race schedule is listed below:

Hope you can make it to the race! If you can’t be there tomorrow, you can still learn about Rotary’s efforts to eliminate polio here.
