Rotary Works to Bring the World Clean Water

On March 22, Rotary clubs and Rotarian worldwide observed World Water Day. They aided in Rotary International’s effort to provide clean, safe drinking water to those who do not currently have access to it.

Ensuring access to safe drinking water is an important cause to Rotary International. In this story on World Water Day from the Rotary International Website, F. Ronald Denham, chair of the Water and Sanitation Rotarian Action Group said, “This is an enormous challenge for humanity, and Rotary clubs are logical leaders in the challenge because they are embedded in their local communities, allowing for the clubs to help define realistic solutions to local problems.”
