Rotary Photo Friday

The child in this photo is just one of the millions of children worldwide whose lives have been positively impacted by the programs of The Rotary Foundation.  The Foundation provides relief for natural disaster victims, educational scholarships for students, vaccines to protect children from diseases and much more.

November is Rotary Foundation Month, and there are a number of ways you can contribute to the Foundation and further its mission to “advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through the improvement of health, the support of education, and the alleviation of poverty.”

Rotary Foundation Trustee Sam Okudzeto visited the Rotary clubs of Eugene and Springfield earlier this month and urged Rotarians to remember that the organization is Rotary International.  In addition to Rotary’s efforts in each community, it is also important to remember the work of The Rotary Foundation worldwide.
