Mongolian Rotarians work with past district governors from Korea to plant vegetables at an ecopark outside Choir, Mongolia, a Keep Mongolia Green project site. The Keep Mongolia Green project is a restoration effort in and around the Gobi desert. The project helps to reduce the effect of Mongolian sandstorms. First Friday Art Walk will take place June 5, beginning at 5:30 p.m. at Modern-Store, 207 E 5th Ave. The Art Walk will continue at Fenario Gallery, White Lotus Gallery, Jacobs Gallery, and end at Opus6ix. Special events such as Skateboard Art Show, “Chalk the World,” and Summer Soirèe also will take place during the Art Walk. The event is supported by the Lane Arts Council.
