The last Thursday in May, our Rotary club awarded college scholarships to Oregon’s future doctors, nurses, engineers, teachers and musicians. It was a packed house with students, their families and their school support (superintendent’s, counselors and others) in addition to our membership.

May Nzama at Sicelekuhle Preschool where she pays for meals out of her pension. Now new toys, tables, and sleeping mats are provided through Rotarian donations and a Matching Grant. The preschools are affordable solutions to aid families affected by AIDS in South Africa
