Thanks to Eugene Airport Rotary and other local clubs, this water source is no longer where the village of Buyuki gets its drinking and cooking water. The Rotary Club of Mengo helps text the new water well, which will provide a safe water source for Buyuki. Rotary International approved the project for a matching grant, and it’s being implemented by the Rotary Club of Mengo in 2007-2008, working with a project management committee appointed by the Buyuki village council.
